I'm back!

So yeah, I got back from Maine late last night. I had a great time. I got to meet like a dozen cousins I never knew I had and I got to check out my school. Chester College of New England is an artist's paradise. The dorm hall has a room thats open 24hrs for anyone to do anything they want. The studio art building is an old mansion that belonged to the governer of Chester or something like that that the school bought and now the students get to do whatever they want to the interior of the building.

It was crazy in there! There was a mural on the wall that lead all the way up the staircase, in another room there was a giant crescent wrench leaning against the wall and a sculpture tribute to cups (as in the kind that protect your testicles with) was on a shelf. I loved it!

The photo building is called the Photo Barn 'cause that's what it is, a barn.

The Powers Building where I'll have most of my classes (it's the writing building) has the student center downstairs and there are pool tables and live bands play down there often. I love pool. Good stuff.

A few days later we visited Tori's college, Unity. If Chester is an artists paradise, Unity is a hippie paradise. Wide open spaces, everyone loves animals in one way or another, there is somewhat of a pot problem, the list goes on.

The place we stayed for two weeks was on the shores of Crescent Lake. We had our own private dock with a canoe and kayak as well as two cabins for extra sleeping space. The whole thing was a steal, $1400 for two weeks!! Badass!

I had a great time but now it's good to be home.
